Updated:  Covered in Light is changing. I bought this domain name for a year and the blog has been sitting here collecting dust for awhile. Instead of letting it go by the wayside, I’ve been thinking of uses for this space.

Covered in Light is now a collaboration project of various authors to write about their experiences as veiled women. This project will be open to all faiths, levels of coverage, time length of coverage, and even for women that used to veil but no longer.  I shouldn’t have to point out the very obvious, but all races and sexual orientations are welcome. The only restrictions right now is that the authors must be 18+, female (cis or trans), and known to us.  In the future, I will be open to having men write here as well as their voice on this subject is as important.  Right now, however, I just want to get the project off the ground.
